Communities in Bloom 2025

The LUD of St Jean Baptiste participated in the Manitoba Communities in Bloom evaluation. 

Communities in Bloom judges evaluate the communities on the six program criteria and award a bloom rating from 1 to 5 blooms (5 being the highest ranking) at a provincial awards ceremony in the fall, where communities receive a certificate with their bloom rating. 

 

Communities in Bloom judges Hugh Skinner and Wilbert Ronald were here on Tuesday, July 29th,2025. Gilbert & Mona Lavallee escorted the judges around town visiting the landmarks, every street and toured the park. Lunch was provided and served by the ladies at the Club Chez Nous. 

The judges were amazed with what the town of this size had to offer in terms of heritage and recreation facilities. Thank you to the residents of St Jean Baptiste for making the communities a beautiful place to live!
